What Can I Expect at a Fife District Association Rally?

At a rally you are free to come and go as you please.  You can join social events or do your own thing.  It's up to you...  As is normal with the Camping and Caravanning Club, no noise is allowed after 11pm.

Rallies are held at country locations - often at farms.  Sometimes we choose a time and place to suit a special event such as the Leuchars Airshow and the Open Golf at St Andrews.  The price is usually between £4-£5.50 per unit per night - excluding electricity.  If an electricity hook up is available you pay the landowner for any electricity you use.

 It is important to know you usually need your own sanitation arrangements as there are often no toilets provided.  Specific information is in the events section.

On arrival the steward welcomes you and guides you to a pitch.  There's always a water tap and elsan disposal for your chemical toilet.  Our holiday sites boast the luxury of a mangle!   Often there's a free quiz sheet you can try if you wish.

We have a large party tent that's usually up.  We often use it for informal gatherings in the evening (where you bring your own drink) and for tea or coffee on Sunday mornings.  Bring your own mug and chair but tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.

There's no requirement to be off the site by 10am / 12 noon on your day of departure as is so common on commercial sites.
