Newton of Nydie, Strathkinness, St Andrews KY16 9SL 

Normally you can sit in your caravan or awning and look across to RAF Leuchars Air Display and see all the aircraft in the display in comfort.   From here you can  explore St Andrews or do part of the Fife Coastal Walk. 

Electric hook-ups are  not available. There's fresh drinking water and elsan disposal, but your own sanitation is essential. 

The nearest village with shops is Strathkinnes and the nearest petrol stations are in St Andrews.  Site open at 2pm on the first day.

Social activities

We often have social events in the evening in our party tent.  A coffee morning is held on Sunday mornings.  You are free to join in or simply do your own thing.

Activities

The nearest sports centre and swimming pool is in St Andrews, 4 miles away.  The West Sands north of St Andrews and Tentsmuir Forest have very attractive sandy beaches.

Dogs

Dogs on leads are welcome.

On the A91(T) from Cupar go through Dairsie and Guardbridge and continue over the bridge towards St Andrews.  Just before the Hungry Horse Cafe turn right (signposted Strathkinnes).  At the crossroads turn right at the Tavern PH and continue on the High  Road.  Turn right before the bungalow.  The site is down a farm road.

What are meets and holiday sites like?

The weekend meet is open to any member of the Camping and Caravanning Club, no matter where they are from.
