About Fife DA
About Fife DAFife District Association is commonly referred to as Fife DA. When you join the Camping and Caravanning Club you automatically join your local Association which covers your postcode area (printed in bottom left corner of the membership card). Your club handbook details each District Association and which area it covers. However you can camp with any District Association regardless of where you live.
Have a look in your copy of the Out & About (free every month with your copy of the clubs magazine) for details of District Association & Region meets & rallies throughout the country. The Camping and Caravanning Club is organised into Regions, and District Associations within these Regions.
Fife District Association exists to provide low cost camping and social activities, mainly at weekends. However we also run holiday sites for longer periods. These are organised by members for members. Typically, these are meets at country locations where some social activities may be arranged. For details of our meets, see our District Association events.
Committee Members and event stewards give of their time voluntarily, and are unpaid. We are a very friendly bunch and a warm welcome is extended to all members of the Camping and Caravanning Club whether first time visitors to one of our meets or, seasoned ralliers. You don't have to belong to Fife to come to our events. We therefore look forward to meeting the friends we do not yet know!
